Visit with College Recruiters: Juniors & Seniors

STEAM is happy to announce that we are inviting a wide variety of colleges to STEAM to share their admissions presentations. The purpose of these visits is to help aid in your college selection process and to give you a chance to speak directly with recruiters and admissions staff before heading to college visits.  Check the SOFT course announcements and posted information.

2017 Buster Bynum Scholarship Application - Deadline May 15, 2017
The Southeastern States Pupil Transportation Conference (SESPTC) is making a one-time $2,500 scholarship available to one student in each of its 14-member southeastern states, including Kentucky.

Kentucky Association of Pupil Transportation (KAPT) Education Scholarship Award Program – Deadline May 1, 2017

This $1,000 education scholarship award will be awarded to four (4) students entering college each school year.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2017

AgDiscovery application packages must be received or postmarked by March 1, 2017. APHIS will not accept application packages or references postmarked after the March 1st deadline. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Summer Transportation Institute (STI)

Program Dates: July 9 – 29, 2017

Application Deadline: April 1, 2017

  • Offered to high school rising Freshmen and Sophomores
  • Kentucky residents only
  • Residential, three-week program July 9 – 29, 2017

STI application packages must be received or postmarked by April 1, 2017. Application packages or references postmarked after the deadline will not be accepted. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Summer Apprenticeship Program (SAP)

  • Offered to high school rising Juniors and Seniors
  • Residential, three-week program

Program Dates:  June 4 – 24, 2017

Application Deadline: April 15, 2017

The mission of this program is to introduce rising high school students to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) including agricultural, environmental and geo-science related systems through hands-on experiential learning, research, and college-prep projects.

Summer Apprenticeship Program application packages must be received or postmarked by April 15, 2017. Application packages or references postmarked after the deadline will not be accepted. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
